  Hi,
  I was at the inaugural meeting of the club in 1966 which was held at the Boat Inn. I was stationed, as a member of the Gardai at the time, Col C.S.F Langridge was elected to the chair. Thomas Tuck as treasurer Myself as secretary The following were elected to Committee Tom Walsh Aughanure,Jim Walsh,Moyvoon. Bernie Sweeney, Killanin and Thomas Morley. The work during the inaugural years consisted of vermin control and the propagation of game mainly pheasant. We did however hatch grouse. I left in 1971 w1th very pleasant and happy memories.
