Heritage Walk

The Oughterard Culture and Heritage Group are pleased to present the new Heritage Walk project, with funding from Galway County Council and in collaboration with Oughterard Tidy Towns. Below, once the signs have been installed, you will find links to every stop, and on each sign will be a QR Code to read them as you progress, or the accompanying Storymap can be found Here, supported by the Heritage Council. We hope you enjoy this walk, and we remind you to take caution when crossing or walking along roads, and to be respectful of any private property along the walk. Please enjoy the built and natural heritage of this beautiful town, but please leave all as you found it. Thank you.
