Sir,

The Irish Provisional Government are setting up a committee for the purpose

of drafting a scheme for the organisation of a new Police Force.

Your name has been sugested to the Government for membership of this

Committee and I shall be glad to learn whether you would be willing to serve.

The first meeting of the Committee will be held at Room 85, Gresham Hotel, Dublin,

on Thursday 9th inst., at 7 o’clock p.m.
