The Garda Síochána 1922- 2022 Exhibition
Commemorates 100 years of An Garda Síochána serving the people of Oughterard and surrounding areas
Oughterard Culture & Heritage Group wish to honour the centenary of An Garda Síochána by holding an exhibition over two weekends 11th, 12th, 13th and 18th, 19th, 20th November 2022 in The Oughterard Courthouse.
We would like to hear from:
Members of the force from the Oughterard/Killannin area who joined the force during the past 100 years
Members of the force who were stationed in Oughterard
We would welcome photographs, newspaper clippings, members memories, memorabilia etc.
