Una Darcy was born in Magheramore, Oughterard. Daughter of Martin & Bridget (O’Toole) Darcy.
Una trained as a nurse at At. Andrew’s Hospital, Dollis Hill, London.
Her sister Nora was also a nurse.
Una passed away in February 2024, she is buried in Kilcummin Cemetery, alongside her husband Pat O’ Halloran, Main Street, Oughterard.
