Mary Shaughnessy

Mary O’Shaughnessy was born in Oughterard on the 29th December 1907 , daughter of Patrick & Bridget (Clancy) O’Shaughnessy.

Mary trained as a nurse at the Central Hospital, Galway from September 1927 to September 1930.

Nursing Registration No. E.316

Mary is listed on the General Nursing Council for Ireland Register for 1939, 1946 & 1948.

Mary  O’Shaughnessy  died 13th April 1994, she is buried with her sister Julia in Kilcummin Cemetery.
