Mary Gannon (née Burke) daughter of Bartholomew & Mary (McDonagh) Burke was baptised on 7th April 1832 in Oughterard and died 21st December 1916. She is buried in Kilcummin cemetery with her husband John, son Bartley & grandchildren Peg & John.
She married John Gannon on the 12th November 1853. They had the following children, Margaret b: 1854, Bartholomew 1858-1921, Patrick b: 1861, Mary b:1864, William Joseph b: 1866, twins Peter & William J b:1872 & Stephen b: 1874
Mary’s husband John died on the 8th December, 1885.
