Photo memories of Cappagariff - Summer of 1958

In the summer of 1958 my family from the United States (my mother Gee Marvel, my brother Si, my cousin Gigi Hopkins, and a family friend Didi Smallwood) along with our old friends the Lewis family (Windsor Lewis and his wife, Barbara Bel Geddes, the film, TV and stage actress, and their two daughters Susan and Betsy) rented the house at Cappagariff overlooking Loch Corrib a few miles north of Oughterard. I thought viewers of the Oughterard Heritage web site might enjoy seeing a few photos I recently digitized from Kodak duplex slides taken by my mother that summer. They include images of a kitchen party at the Kelly House nearby.
