That is a 6 inch map from the late 1890s. It may have been printed in 1930 by the Free State but the surveyors name and the date of survey should show 1890 something.
That late 1890s map was minorly revised a a pathetic ‘new’ survey during/after world war 2 by the Ordnance Survey but even though some of Galway and Dublin were revised properly the Workhouse in Oughterard was not removed from the map although I think it was part or wholly demolished by then.
