Andrew Ferguson may be descended from Hugh Ferguson (1848-1915) a retired RIC man who owned a shop in Oughterard. He was born in Leitrim. He married my Great Grand Aunt Deborah Breen in the R C Chapel in Glencar Co Kerry in 1885. He was in the RIC there. My late father always said we were related to the Ferguson family.
