The two gentlemen to the right of the photo are Naughton’s. Pat Naughton holding the fish ( he was the Boatman) and I believe the other was the then owner of the Hotel, his father. Pat Naughton was my great Uncle. I only met him once when I was 10 years old. He and his wife Mary lived in the cottage adjacent to the Hotel. The other two men would have been from England , perhaps Mr Lilley from the well know shoemakers Lilley and Skinner, who were regular customers at the Anglers Hotel. There was one very large fish on display in the hotel which was caught by them.
